"Type 2" simply refers to the transformtion it went under when his IS calibrated to him, or at least, thats how I see it. Maybe the same class but definitely different versions or types. This leads me to believe that Yukihira type 2 is an upgraded version of the Yukihira Chifuyu Orimura used.
